Governance records

Every decision evaluated by RiGEL produces a structured governance record.

Decisions become transparent and explainable.

What a governance record contains

RiGEL automatically generates a governance record for every decision. Each record captures:

  • Inputs — The data evaluated for the decision, such as member information, application details, and financial values.
  • Rules applied — The governance rules that were evaluated against the inputs.
  • Calculations — The computations performed, including eligibility checks and financial formulas.
  • Outcome — The final decision produced by the evaluation.

Why governance records matter

Governance records allow organizations to reconstruct decisions later. When questions arise—from community members, auditors, or leadership—the record shows exactly how the outcome was produced.

They support transparency, auditability, and institutional continuity. Leadership changes and staff turnover no longer risk losing the rationale behind past decisions. Every outcome is documented in a structured, reproducible form.

Example governance record

Inputs

Member age: 22
Program: Education
Requested amount: $8,500

Rules applied

  • Age ≥ 18
  • Program = Education
  • Maximum annual funding = $10,000

Outcome

Approved: $8,500

RiGEL generates a record like this automatically for every decision.

Decisions should always be explainable
